Atomic Road Race

Registration
BC
riders -- register on-line up to June 11 at 5:00 pm for $35 ($25
for Juniors). Day of race fee is $45.00. All riders must have
a valid Cycling BC license.
American riders – $25 USD
day of the race or online at (www.Karelo.com) US riders must
provide their own insurance and have valid cycling licenses from
their governing body.
All participants who
register on-line with Karelo will be eligible for this years
draw prize, a set of “Louis Garneau PRO” race wheels.
These lightweight aerodynamic wheels come with high profile rims
paired to American Classic hubs and retail for $760. Check

Course
The
10km course is the same as last year and as the one used in this
year’s Escape Velocity training race. Registration and race
start is at King Traditional Elementary, 28776 King Road Abbotsford.
Parking is along King Road (no parking on course).
Course route: North on Bradner Rd.; East on Simpson
Rd.; South on Ross Rd. (changing to Peardonville Rd.); West on Huntingdon Rd. to Bradner Rd.
Distance/lap: 10 KM

The nearest highway exit is 264th Street. Head South
along 264 then East (left) on 16th Ave. 16th Ave. changes name to
King Rd. Use
Google Maps or
MapQuest to get directions and driving times.
For US riders, the race is about 10 minutes from
the border.
From the Huntingdon/Sumas border crossing continue north on Sumas Way,
then turn left (West) on Vye Rd. Vye becomes Huntingdon Rd. Turn right
(North) onto Bradner and continue to King Rd.
From the Aldergrove border crossing continue north on 264th St. Turn
right (East) on 16th Ave. which becomes King Rd.

Combined categories will be separated for prizes and
upgrading points. Masters men will race with their Senior category.
